Saskia is in 1995 afgestudeerd aan de Hoge School voor  Kunsten richting grafische vormgeving. Vier jaar geleden besloot zij het schilderen weer op te pakken.  Na op de academie vrij abstract geschilderd te hebben verviel ze nu weer in de stijl, die zij voor de academie schilderde. De schilderijen die ze maakt zijn surrealistisch van aard, vooral mensen dieren en gebouwen staan centraal.

    Het liefste schildert ze met haar vingers, om alleen bij de fijne details het penseel er weer bij te gebruiken.  Ook is ze dit jaar begonnen met in haar schilderijen air-brush elementen te gebruiken tezamen met olie en acryl verf.       De kleuren zijn helder en er worden vrij veel blauw tinten gebruikt.

  Saskia graduated at the school of arts in 1995 with a speciality in grafic design. Four years ago she decided to pick up painting again.
After having painted in an abstract style during het time at the academy, she started painting again in the style she used before she started at the academy. The paintings she makes are in a surrealistic style where human, animals and buildings figures are at the core of the painting.

   She prefers painting with just her fingers, only for the very fine details will she use a fine quil brush.
This year she also started to use air-brush elements in her paintings along with oil and acrylic paint.
The colors are bright an include many different shades of blue
